Yes, in full agreement with you there. What I found with the headlining was that the front edge on mine is a bit of a rough cut, much like the wheel arch liners. You can't see it from the driving position or the outside but its not tidy.
Okay - i'll give it a wee poke...

my view is that if you do anything other than just drive the car, bits may fall off!
Is this not just crazy that people are saying or thinking (as many are) things like this about what Ford are pushing in the 21st century as a premium product?

I thought Ford had progressed from the Model A... but maybe not... perhaps this is what they're talking about with all this 're-learn' stuff.

If anyone from Ford with any degree of care, responsibility or ultimately decision making power ever bothers to follow this and other forums and monitor some of the comments on perceived build quality, they should be hanging their heads in shame.

Sometimes I think the attitude of Ford is, you're getting a 5 litre V8 engine for £35k - everything else is thrown in for free (so don't complain about the quality). Other times, I think the quality is better than perceived (by us?), and I'm just a bit paranoid from reading so many complaints in one place - but that is just what this forum is for, to collect good, and bad, information about the car

Cracked

Okay - I cracked. Worth £459 plus fitting? If you can afford it - but the alcantara does run smooth on the steering wheel.

Night and day, much better than stock. Whether its £459 plus fitting better...well that's a personal thing ;)

I paid $259 (usd, and in the days the pound was worth something and we got along with the Europeans) my mate hand carried the thing home from Houston and I fitted it myself (so anyone could).

I like that you can change your paint colour; from 'full guard' to 'reduced guard'. ;)

Haha! Yes, full guard is only for sunny days. Rest of the time it's reduced guard, when people most often confuse it for magnetic grey.

I hate this site sometimes.

Just when I think I have either done or planned, all my mods I innocently click on a thread and something else goes on my mod list. I have never considered a steering wheel mod before.

I dread to think how much the list will grow by after Sunday!

'tis an addiction to be sure - 'just one more mod, I swear....' (I'm liking the look of this: https://www.facebook.com/groups/UKMustang/search/?query=splitter £975)

Oi! Magnetic is the Enhanced Guard option, to be found in the hidden "Fastest Color" menu... ;)
