Car has 45,500 miles. This started happening suddenly. It happens under two conditions as far as I can tell:

- It only happens on driver's side
- While stationary and while turning left only. Turning right it does not happen.
- While driving straight in slow speeds (20-30 mph) going over uneven pavement. This feels like something is rattling.

See the video. Is this something I can fix myself? I have access to a lift and tools.

If the control arm was bad it would of been clunking. This is most likely a strut mount.

Pop the hood open and put your hands over the strut mount and have some one turn the wheel so you can feel and hear if the noise is coming from the mount.

If a shop is doing the work , parts and labor shouldn't be more than $250-$300 including alignment.

So the strange thing is, car does not make the noise until well after it is driven for 20 minutes or so when its 80F outside. Then the noise starts happening. I have had my wife turn the steering wheel while car was on a lift and I was under it and I cant pinpoint where it is coming from although it's coming from the suspension area. I recorded another video for reference.

Note : There is a high pitched squeaking going on which is the tire rubbing the 4 post lift's runways. That has nothing to do with the problem, its due to the steering motion. The "tick tick tick" noise is the problem noise.

@BmacIL

He might know what it is. But I am pretty sure is the strut mount. Also check your spring isolator.
