If you jerk the wheel hard, like as if you were swerving to avoid a deer, do you have an audible clunk in your steering? Also, if you jerk the wheel with the car off, does it make any clunking? I can't feel a clunk, but I hear it in both conditions. I got underneath and couldn't find anything unusual in the suspension (no loose bolts, leaks, etc.) but I couldn't really see the rack. I'm guessing I need to take it in, but maybe this is "normal".
