Super Easy Installation on Steedas description site. Takes 15 minutes.
Yes, it makes a difference.

Works on MagneRide equipped cars from 2016 thru 2023, including EcoBoost, GT, Bullitt, Mach 1 and GT350. Can be used with stock or Steeda Dual Rate springs. Per Steeda, this unit is compatible with all cars listed on the product page on their website. No individual programming. Only car that it def does not work on is a GT500.

Worked perfect when removed, no codes or faults. Used about 1 year.
Asking $1000, shipping included lower 48. Steeda sells it for $1600. Excellent deal!
