Hi, I took my car in for some warranty body work (alignment & artifact under the paint) and ever since then my car alarm sporadically will set off for no apparent reason. I thought it was me activating it accidentally but its not any user fault of my own. I can't find a pattern yet why it goes off.
1) It went off when I went to the ATM at BofA and nobody was close to the car.
2) I just walked into the office and 6 seconds later it goes off.
3) When I got home last night and was walking away the car somehow unlocked itself and the lights turned on. So I went back to the driveway and pressed the driver side handle to lock the car. Then 2 seconds later the car alarm went off.
Anyone have similar problems with their alarm? BTW, the dealership had my car for 1 week. So not sure if sitting with no activity will affect the electronic component.
