I get this call probably 2-3 times a week.

Standard BAPs are super easy to wire in.

All you do is splice the violet and green wire in the fpdm and ground. Thats it.

Unplug the Plug from the FPDM, unwrap the harness as much as you can.

You are going to "crop" the 2 bap wires inline the original wires.

On the standard Vortech Bap.

After cutting the violet / green wire (try to leave a decent amount on each side), take the red wire with inline fuse and solder / clamp (we recommend solder) to the "harness" side / front of the vehicle.

Take the orange non fused wire and solder it toward the plug side. tape off and plug back in. Ground the black wire, and thats it. Gray or brown wire just tape up.

Their are some generic instructions that talk about running to the battery, etc.. and this isn't needed.

Again, crop inline, ground, thats it, your done!!!!!

:)

Good breakdown. The KB version still comes with the vacuum/boost switch which everyone says to hardwire to max. Opinions on that?

That seems to be the consensus and is what I did. The latest KB instructions still say not to do that specifically. Not sure why.

Glad I got the JMS one. Plug and play. Hardest part was hooking up a ground. Lol
