SR Performance Strut Tower Brace - nut size question

I have my old sr performance strut tower brace, but forgot which nuts were which thread

4 of the nuts have a small "10" on the bottom of them, and the other 4 have what looks to be an 8 between 2 lines like "| 8 |"

Anyone know which is 10x1.5 and which is 10x1.25 for when I install them on my friend's ecoboost?

Put the nut on the stud that they screw on with your fingers.

I remember doing this when installing on my old ecoboost and couldn't really tell the difference, they felt the same and I was scared of stripping it. Maybe I'll try it again on my friend's ecoboost and hope for the best

1.5 thread pitch nut will not screw on a 1.25 thread pitch stud. It may thread on a turn or so but no further if turning by your fingers.

The 4 mount points for the Ford FR3Z-16A200-A brace are M10 x 1.5mm

oh boy.. this is why I turn my own wrenches lol.

Please don't hurt your buddy's car. There's plenty of extra thread to test each nut on the 2 tall passenger's side chassis brace studs (M10 X 1.5). You'll get few free turns with your fingers before reaching the nylock if the shoe fits.
