the absolute prat who has dinged the door on my brand new GT - at humberside airport car park....

Parked it miles away from anyone else - came back to it the next day - surrounded by cars and a dent in the door panel - strangely no one was actually parked next to it on that side!!! (the other strange thing was that most of the rest of the car park was empty - do Mustangs secretively attract other cars?)

yep doesn't matter where you park it or how far away from everyone else you can guarantee there's always someone parked either side of you when you come back and usually so close you can't even open the stupid sized doors.

Don't ever take it to asda thats worse still.

It pisses me off that I go out my way to find a space in the most secluded part of the car park and when I return someones parked right next to me, even though there's spaces every where else.

That pisses me off too. I always park away from everyone else, but I still get some dickhead parking a clunker so close I can hardly get in my car. They seek us out I think.

Unfortunately there's a breed out there now that know you're parking away from other cars and deliberately park next to you. Just for the hell of it.
The theory that parking next to a nice car might in some way protect you - as they don't want to damage their car either - doesn't work either. In Aberdeen for example where half the moderately nice cars are fleet they couldn't give a toss...

My favourite parking spot at Tesco is the first normal one at the end of a long line of parent and child extra wide spaces. It's miles away from the front door, so not very popular anyway and you're always protected on one side at least (unless someone is careless with their trolley...)

I have a 1998 Rav 4 that i go to Tesco cinema car parks etc. Can park it anywhere and never worry. Frightens BMW drivers if you park next to them.
