Spare Tire or Compressor and Plugs

Do you carry a spare?
I have the AA spare and spacer for the front Brembos, but I also have a Viair compressor and a professional plug kit.
Thinking of ditching the spare and only using it on long trips. I know plugs aren't the greatest, but only need them to get me to a repair shop.

I was thinking about this too. I have upcoming trip to Charlot, NC for GT350 Track Attack. It's 600 miles one way. I'm going to buy tire pro plugue kit to be on the safe side. I can't rely on sealant provided with the car. I didn't have good luck with sealants in the past. As for spare, one can be purchased for our car. I saw it on internet somewhere for $500.

I already have the Auto Auth spare. Just don't think it's necessary to carry it all the time.

Which patch kit would you suggest to get from them?

I have the one with the mushroom plugs, but never used them. Their strips work pretty good.
Like I said, just enough to get me to a repair place. Drove my C6 for 10K miles on one of their plugs.
Pick what suits your needs. On a trip like you're taking, I would pack my spare.
