Palomar Mountain is a great road... Not sure where's a good meeting spot, but I suggest somewhere in Oceanside or Carlsbad near the 5 fwy, and finish up in the Palomar Observatory. http://www.astro.caltech.edu/palomar/visitor/

I'm very familiar with O'side as I spent a considerable amount of time at Camp Pendleton when I was in the Marines. I'm trying to think of a parking lot that could hold 30+ Mustangs, none come to mind at this time.

Carlsbad may be a better meet-up spot, oh yeah I'm definitely in for this cruise - Can Not Wait!!!

You know, El Nino may be upon us by then, but I figured as long as there are no downpours, we are still on. Sound reasonable?

Just added it to my calendar :clap2: I should have my Whipple SC installed that week so it'll be my first road trip with it Anyone cruising down the 5 or 405 fwy we can meet up in OC and convoy down to SD. Let me know and I will search the best site to meet

Liz, let me know when we get a final route and we can work on a method so everyone has an easy access to the route to lessen the chances of the group getting split up :doh:
