Exactly why people here were saying don't but a 2016 just to get Sync 3 vs. a good deal on a 2015. It wan't coming anytime fast.

The CarPlay option is essentially an app, you won't be forced to use it if you don't like.

Android auto requires a phone running android 5.0 or newer (which is less than 10% of android users, thanks to a large part of the market share coming from cheap prepaid phones stuck on old versions of the OS) where as over 70% of iPhone users have an iPhone 5 or newer that would work with Car Play. In other words there are exponentially more iPhone users out there who could take advantage of a feature such as this

To quell the arguing, support for BOTH are in the pipeline for Sync 3. Just not Windows Automotive, because Microsoft doesn't want to play nice and support QNX.

Without proof i disagree with your numbers. Even if numbers were true. It doesnt change iphone users are minority to android. Like someone said its an app and you dont have to use it. So thats fine with me

It's actually 23.5% as of October 2015 between 5.0 and 5.1. 6.0 hadn't been widely released yet. His numbers are off, but generally an accurate statement.
