So glad I don't have someone telling me what I like and what I should have.
Lifes short, you're never to old for a certain color. That's stupid. If you like it , get it.
Yeah, but give that Guy a break. He admitted its his Wife thats going to be making the Car Payments so........Its the one that puts the cash in the "Tip Jar" that gets to request the Song thats going to be sung, right?

If you say so. I'm not wanting get into the argument. Its my point of view. I pay for my own things and no one is telling me what color car I can or can't get. A car is a long term decision and I'm not willing to compromise on it. However to each his own...or the own she decides for you.

After 26 years of being married, I know how to pick my fights! I like the TY, but I also really like the DIB. It's not like I settled, she just helped the coin land on the DIB side! Its not like she said, "No, you can't have that!" She knows me, and knows I'd be driving a TY car right now if she did!
She would have loved for me to get the CO, but she would have been sticking big white Clemson tiger paws on it everytime she walked past it! And not to mention I work for her competition, USC. Didn't really want to drive an orange car to USC.
Now the big one was 10 years ago when I wanted to get my first Mustang as a daily driver. I found a 10 yo GT convertible with 36,000 miles on it for $7K. Flew to VA and drove it home on dry rotted tires. She insisted I stay in either a minivan or four door sedan since we had 4 kids aged 5 to 14. I had to trade cars with her twice (to fit 5 of us) before the oldest had his own car. Yea, she said no to this one! LOL!

Glad (you) agree. You did say "whoever makes the payments decides". Obviously, in your case, (you) will be mailing the remittance and in (his) case, his (Wife).

Any time anyone mentions wife on this forum people start chest beating over how their "the man" and wife is nothing but a hole and serves no purpose in decision making ... Cut that crap out. We're sorry your marriage life is such a crap shoot.

Leave it off the forums and my thread please.

Anyways back to CO. Stopped by and checked it out in rain today. My god the color shines on an ugly day!!!

I came here looking for Comp Orange, what the hell? :)

Nice color though... It was between that and Race Red for me, but I ended up going RR. I think they both look awesome in the sun and show off the great sculpted lines of the new body really well.

Posted them before in V6 section but not in CO section. If you hadn't seen them enjoy.

My GT Premium CO 401A 50 yr pk 3.55 NAV arrived 12/10 and I think some
people are color-blind; I have inspected this car in the light and the dark and
this color is ORANGE. "I will date a Plain Jane but I will never drive one".

It does look kinda red in some photos. However, in-person there's no mistaking it as a very orangey-orange.

Black, "Oxford" White, Light Grey, Dark Grey, just like 4 out of every 5 Vehicles you see every day on the road. How do you spell boring....? Mustang Convertible? Screams Race Red or Triple Yellow, not so sure if Competition Orange might loose some love after a while though.
That orange is a great color for the right guy/lady. If the OP is a Clemson fan, he'll never lose any love over it. But if he's a Gamecocks' fan...
