So my rear pads are already spent.

Fronts are at like 50%. Seems as if I am using the traction control/stability management a bit too much! ;)

I was'nt expecting this, so next time you have your rear wheels off, check the brake pad life.

That is really short for rear pads, they normally last twice the fronts.

I just swapped out the brakes in the rear, and only the outer pad wore, the inner pad was about 50% worn...

I guess I will need to lube the pins? Im not sure what else would cause that.

I'm pretty sure I'm gonna end up doing the same thing. The AdvanceTrac system can really eat up the rear brakes if you're the type who likes to drive spiritedly and doesn't remember to turn it off every time. Whoops.

no mechanical issues I can tell, this failure looks like stick pins, and a caliper that was constantly dragging the outer pad. The inner pad did have some uneven (tapered) wear, but I cant chock it up to anything other than isolated to the caliper/pins...

After 20K my rear pads barely looked bothered compared to the fronts.
