A lot of a/c's do this, moisture accumulates when you run the a/c and causes mold to grow. You can try to change the cabin filter to try to help. I always turn my a/c off and run the normal fan for a few minutes to help dry it out before shutting it off.

A shot of lysol down the cabin air intake will do wonders...there's youtube videos of how to do that.

To keep it from happening in the future:

Try and drive for about the last 5 min. of your drive with the A/C switched off and the cabin fan going. This dries out the evaporator. I know that if you live some place like Phoenix, that might not be possible in the summer ;)

P.S. As far as I know, this isn't indicative of your A/C system charge leaking (as others have said). It is indicative of moisture building up in the evaporator and creating a nice home for mold

I noticed you quoted me before I made an important edit. Make sure the cabin fan is on with the A/C off

I used to think it's better to turn AC off and run air to dry out the system. It's actually better just turn the fan off while it's cold so it heats up slowly allowing less condensation to build up which makes fungus to grow.

That's what you get when you dry a swamp to let people live there
