I have a 2015 GT Premium with the NAV option. In my previous car, a 2011 GT Premium with NAV, traffic on the freeways was indicated by green, yellow, and red arrows with Sirius Traffic. I can not seem to find the setting that will enable this on my new car. Is there some setting somewhere to show the traffic on the nav map like before? Thanks.

I'm not sure if it shows traffic (might require being sync'd to your phone) But I have gotten alerts about funerals and stuff on my route from the Nav system which is very cool.

The traffic is there in that it calculates the time accurately to your destination based on traffic along your route, but I haven't been able to make it show traffic conditions like Google Maps on a phone does or anything like that.

Do you actually have to have a route entered in order to see the Sirius traffic alerts?

I see in the settings an option for "Traffic on Route" but it is grayed out. My subscriptions screen shows the sirius traffic is subscribed. I will try setting a route next time I am out for a drive to see if the traffic gets displayed. Its a shame if the new Mustang doesn't have the traffic display like the older one. It was a good way to decide on routes to work which I don't need directions to but it would be nice to see if the freeway is not moving before getting on.
