Wondering if anybody has removed their factory (black plastic) side skirts? On a lowered car, I don't really seem them being necessary - unless there's some aerodynamic function. I think it might look decent, but since I can't find any pictures maybe there's a reason. Thoughts?

I've also wondered about this, as I generally don't like black plastic trim. There might be exposed mounting holes, unfinished areas underneath the plastic, or some other reason.

Should watch this video around the 35 sec mark, you can see what it looks like behind the factory side skirts

Ah, yep see that’s definitely uglier than just leaving them on. Weird how the body has a wide pinch weld that sticks out like that. Knew there had to be a reason, thanks
