Yeah get on eBay and find a mirror. You're lucky in that the part you need can be taken off any color mirror.

You could probably even sell the colored cap off the mirror you buy and make some of the cost back.
I was wondering, do you know if the size/dimension of the piece I am missing is the same across all the mirrors for the 2015 mustang?

I have the powered mirror without "lane merging indicator".

Would the same piece from a mirror with "lane merging indicator" fit my mirror? I want say yes but even the sellers that I ask on ebay are unsure.

Sorry to revive an old thread, but someone ripped off my colored cap of my passenger mirror (comp orange) how did you end up going about fixing this? Dealer quote at 600 seems outrageous...

Don't do it at a dealer. Buy a used mirror from ebay: http://www.ebay.com/sch/i.html?_fro...5.TRS0&_nkw=side+mirror+mustang+2015&_sacat=0

Try to look one that looks good, if not, just buy any that's cheap and paint over it (body shop folks can teach you how). You can put it on yourself or bring it to any service shop and they'll do it for $60.

I bought a used mirror on ebay for $100 and just brought it to a repair shop across the street and the guy took it apart and put it on my car in about 10 minutes. Didn't cost me anything so I tipped him $40.

Can you show me a picture of the damaged part on your car?

Sorry - been a busy week.

Ended up order the part from fordparts.com...picked up from dealer for ~65 with tax. Not too bad.

They did however quote me at 150$ to paint match it comp orange.

So i will just be dipping it (along with the other side) flat black.

Thanks for the input!!
