I really like detailing cars, BIG and small!

You guys have inspired me to get off my ass and start taking this one apart.

If I can strip all the plastic off and the body from the chassis I can ask the Bodyshop that did my hood paint and install to see if they can hit it with a spray of Carbonized Grey!

man i gotta get me one of these!
that would make my detailing my 1/18 so much more easy!
now should i use wax or ceramic on them? they are mainly for "show".....
That made me laugh out loud! When I get a new diecast car I actually polish it then wax it then use sealant on it. During the winter I take all the cars out of the cabinets, clean the selves and wax the cars. It takes awhile, I have 135 cars. I find it relaxing! I have withdrawals from not cleaning the real cars during the winter.

Ok, now this is just badass! Over the years I’ve seen little things like jacks and lifts and stuff. But this is awesome! I’ve thought about doing something for my cars over the years. They are all still packed up from moving a few months ago. When I get my garage all the way I want it I’m going to do something!!!

No special tools. I use the same stuff I use on my real cars. The sealant I use is PolishAngel High Gloss applied with a foam applicator and removed with a micro fiber towel. To maintain I use Wolfgang Spritz. Mist it on and remove with micro fiber towel. It takes a little patience
but I find it relaxing. I don’t have anyone here to criticize or say I‘m crazy for polishing toys. There’s a lot worse things i could do with my money and my time!
