Shift knobs and thoughts

I thought I saw a thread about this but couldn't find it.

I don't think there are to many things that set of the interior like a good shift knob. (And colored stitching).

For those of you who have changed them out...

-what did you go to? (Pictures??)
-why?
-thoughts?

P.S. Anyone ever find a blue and silver knob?. I found blue and white, but no grey. Thanks

I hated the stock shift knob my hand felt like my hand would slide off the top when shifting into 5th,also the oem reverse lockout broke on mine. so I opted for the gt350 knob, with a barton reverse lockout. But then the interior looked unbalanced so I swapped out the steering wheel for the gt350r wheel too, and added alcantara shift boot, brake boot, and arm rest with red stitching to match the knob, I then dyed the stitching on the seats to match. The only thing I'm not happy with is the brake handle.

Looks good, but that's what I would call a cascading effect LOL

I went with a red crinkle powder coated 450 gram knob. It has a nice secure feeling while shifting. The crinkle coat has a nice texture to it without being too rough. The stock knob is really light in comparison, shifting feels quite different.

I did the GT350 knob. I like the fact that the trim matches my paint. I also did the welt on the radio stack and a GT350R steering wheel, although I may change to a Beith fancy one in the future. Good thing they are easy to swap. Someday when I gather a lot of patience, I may do the stitching.

BTW, there are several solutions for the drab brake handle.

I went with the RTR knob. I live in AZ couldn't hold that shifter after April it would fry your hand.

We can do blue and silver man. We can do a lot of custom work, what'd you have in mind?
