I got a good deal on my GT but it has the lowly cloth black seats with white trim. I would also like to trim so weight out of the car. I am on a budget so nothing too costly. Considering the Corbeau Forza of FX1 seats in black. Anyone install or use these seats? I can't spend $2950.00 on FP Recaro seats as am saving for a blower!

Can those seats work with electric seats components or do the become manual?

They become manual - you use their seat bracket. You will also get an airbag light which, as is my understanding, disables the entire airbag system. The only performance seats with airbags in them are the Recaros.

I would check out eBay. I regularly see complete leather interior sets for $500-$700 if you are a little patient. Doesn't solve your weight reduction, but the leather upgrade would be nice!
