If someone is willing to do a test for me next time you drive I'd appreciate it. (2019 GT Manual, US Spec - not that the transmission is important here...)
1. Get in car, buckle seat belt, go for a drive
2. In a safe area and once you are up to cruising speed, unbuckle your seat belt
3. Do you get a seat belt warning light in the dash immediately?
4. If no warning light immediately, does it eventually light up after a minute or two?
In all of my current and previously owned cars, the seat belt light and chime would come on instantly upon unbuckling the seat belt (when moving). In my GT, i get about a 90 second "grace period" before the seat belt light comes on.
Maybe this is normal but I wanted to check first. Not even sure why this bothers me but hey, it is fun to learn from and interact with this community!!
Thanks in advance!!
