SCT X4 SUCKS

Received my JLT/LUND Tune combo and stainless works headers yesterday. Thanks to Terry @ Beefcake Racing quick shipping and very helpful.

However, after installing the JLT loading the tune onto the tuner I go to program the car and walllah. Go to load the Lund tune Error 110AE. Go to Use the canned tune from SCT Error 110AD.. Each time it suggest I use auto update blah blahhhh. My computer pin is DCE.

We are using the most updated software available. I don't get it! What sucked even more is having to de-mod the CAI so I can have a working vehicle to get to work.

Lastly, I'm also inconvenienced by the fact SCT's hours are 9-6 well Im at work during those hours; so I guess me calling and being near the car for help is a mute point unless I take off. :frusty::frusty::frusty::frusty::frusty::frusty:

Email beefcake. They usually don't have to talk to you on the phone.

It sucks to be the guy, but sometimes there are issues that arise. Just know that he and they will make it right.

I talked with beefcake he tried to help as best he could. He thinks its a SCT problem. so I guess ill wait until I happen to be off for the day to get this sorted.

My 13-14 cars all worked well with my X3..

I read of the problems with the x4 and the s550 before i bought it. The only reason I went with the x4 because my local tuner only tunes with sct software.

Who are you getting tuned by as I see youre in Maryland. Rev Auto?!

Rev Auto had no issues tuning my car with SCT. I agree the X4 seems to have issues on the S550 but the X3 worked great for several tunes with my S197. Curious to see the resolution of this.

you wont be disappointed. Adam is the man. And takes his time to get you dialed in. All my cars have performed very well!

Have you plugged it into a computer to update it recently? Mine had a similar issue and was only fixed after plugging into a comp to do another update that it won't do on wifi

I was on the phone last night, seems to be an issue with his particular pcm code, but Lund is pretty sure he has a work around for it!

He's going to try it later and let us know

With these cars being new, tuners are still getting the ECU codes taking care of. This is not something new.

It's just getting your stradegy unlocked and then it will be all set.
