I won't lie, I would be lying if I said at some point I will buy another Camaro.
I won't lie, I would be lying if I said I wasn't wondering why you bought a Mustang when you have that Camaro.

well Synergy Green is what a 2010 color? so the car is getting long in the tooth, I'd be wanting to upgrade too.

I am retired Air Force - was retired in my late 20s after a plane accident. Having said that, my peers and I are used to trading in cars when warranty's are up. I personally have always been a person that just likes to have warranty.

Now, I do regret selling that car. It lasted all but two days on the dealers lot. The next car I bought was a Jeep Wrangler (I also like Jeeps... Had a Jeep Commander which I loved). Then I bought a convertible Camaro. But, I also missed my Synergy Green Camaro. Wish I kept it.

I might even do a Synergy Green wrap on this Mustang. That green was the best green I have seen on an American car.

Either way... You aren't the first to criticize me for selling it. It's ok.

welcome, I was a died in the wool GM/Chevy/Pontiac girl until the 2013 refresh of the Mustang. Something about those taillights and the GT500-esque front end won me over and I HAD TO HAVE IT.

The new Camaro felt exactly like my old GTO but in new skin, so I never got into the 2010-2015 years. I hated the taillights on the 10-13 cars, and while I liked the 14-15 cars, my wife didn't.

after our '13 Mustang was great, the 15+ Mustang to me is just a work of art, and miles ahead of what the Camaro was in that gen. Even for the 16+, the Camaro might have the power advantage right now, I just didn't really bond with the ones I checked out, even though of the post-4th gen Camaros, the 16 is the best looking to me.. Then there's the price. A loaded 2SS vert w/ magride and NPP would come in around 55k or so, whereas my loaded GTPP Vert came in at 49k

Never thought I'd have a Ford, much less two of them.

Price is getting a little ridiculous with Chevys lineup...

Yeah, after i priced out a new SS (after I had already ordered my Mustang) I knew that I was making the right choice at least on a financial level. But like most people, you always wonder if that grass is a little greener on the other side.

Either way, I hope you enjoy the new car, and hopefully it creates a believer in Ford out of you.

There will always be something better and faster. It's like people who wait for the latest MacBook Pro... Then complain when a new one comes out. It's inevitable. Buy what you like and also what you need.

Of course the Camaro will be faster. It came out after the new Mustang. But, I absolutely love the way the Mustang looks.

The only thing I would be salty about is if they did something like a twin turbo for the Ecoboost... Lol.

Having the 2.0 Ecoboost in my ST, i literally can't say a single bad thing about it, other than it needs more turbo stock, but I can't complain, 300whp for $1500 in mods into the car, and still on the stock turbo is good enough especially when it's not a race car, even if it does sound like a damn rally car.

I'm sure the 2.3 in the Mustang has 400whp potential in it or close on the stock turbo. You'll be fine w/out twins. :p

Plane accident?

I didn't realize you had sold that Camaro. I thought you bought the Mustang in addition to the Camaro. That metallic green is excellent. Great looking car. I like the metallic Lime that is available on the Chevy Spark but its not available on the Camaro.

Ford makes a 2.7L V6 EB for the F150. Probably be trivial for them to stuff that into the Mustang, and sell for mid to high twenties. I think it makes 350 lb ft of torque, stock.

and Ecoboost torque when modded goes through the roof! I've seen stock turbo FoSTs lay down like 295whp, and then like 405tq.

Any idea what the 0-60 numbers are on a modded FoST ? Do they have LSD option?
you can get a quaife, (no idea on the spelling) and I hear it's great, but stock they use the heck out of torque vectoring, and it actually works well. With the launch control set at 2800, I can launch that thing pretty smoothly all day long with a little feathering. But it's really twitchy. If I set it at like 3200, it's wheelspin/wheel hop down the road. the torque comes in a big fat swell after about 2500.

as for 0-60, not sure, but they would certainly surprise somebody. People just generally have issues launching them at the track, 2.2-2.3 60' times are embarrassing, but common. If one would actually hook up they'd be scraping high 13's stock, and low 13's on the stock turbo in the 1/4. Fast enough to catch a stock Coyote off guard, that's for sure. But with a 2.3 60', stock they're stuck in the low to mid 14's.

The other day in slick conditions coming home in separate cars, my wife totally caught me off guard MMOB (minding my own business) and by the time I got on it with us both in 2nd to run her ST she was long gone. my TCS kicked in and cut my power, and for her the big torque swell of that little K03 in the ST just rocketed her off past me and I never had a chance. Yeah the Mustang is more powerful, but man oh man, those little STs (the FiST as well) will totally catch you if you're snoozin.
