Be careful of that "crunch"... I felt it too, more of a bite/wall but, probably a similar sensation.. And here I am..

umm. im getting really nervous. I feel like there is a "wall" when I hit second and sometimes it doesn't want to go into third.
ugh. I hope im not in for the same problem as you are.

were you revv matching and down shifting when slowing down, or were you just throwing it into neutral and using your breaks?
I do a lot of revv matching. I don't think it would be bad for the transmission, but I could be wrong. (btw, the car lives most of its life under 3k rpm)

im always scared though. I come from a BMW where if something felt odd or if the car made a funny noise, you better find it and fix it before it turns into something bigger.
I just need to trust in the pony and the pony will not let me down. hopefully.

Were you able to get a rental from Ford while the cars down? I had a tranny go out under warranty and Ford gave me a rental for about a month but it wasn't easy to get.

Just joined the forum, Wanted to say hello to the locals...Hello!
I picked up a blk 2015 gt pp about 3 1/2 months ago. It's been fun so far but the modding has already begun. Hahha, couldn't help myself, So much potential. Big shout out to sdxrunner(kevin) and billy, thanks for all the help through out the years and convincing me the GT was the better choice.
So with a bedroom full of boxes, the modding will soon get to. I was going to start out big but after much thought and talks about it, I have decided to take baby steps and see what becomes avail in the future. Parts taking over my bedroom are,
Jlt oil catch can
Jlt cai with tuner and bama tune, I want to try it out for a bit and then try a Lund tune, then compare.
MRT h pipe
Roush axel back

After those get installed, my focus will be on suspension. Vertical Links, bushing kit, springs, subframe support braces, rear subframe. Not sure about the sways as I will need to view the difference between stock, but yeah the half shafts and 1 piece drive shaft , small tire and skinny for the track. Maybe a bottle before going for more power.

I dont know, I get the mod bug like crazy and tend to go all out. I need to be careful with this build. DD with some track days here and there as well as some street fun. I don't wanna blow it up. Hahha.

Blah blah blah, hope to meet some locals and be an active part of the community and learn much about this rides potential.
