I've got candles and emergency water/flashlights etc layed out right now cause I'm worried about my tree in the front yard ripping out my power and cable lines from the roof of my house. 50' pine that has some large branches going through the lines tugging on them pretty good and the tree has been popping, making weird noises and swaying bad all day. Currently getting 40mph winds but seen 70+ earlier.
Not only am I worried about the powerlines, the angle of the tree is leaning right at my car, wind is blowing the tree the opposite way but I'm nervous that if it goes the large branches will twist it around and aim it right on top of my car. I've been checking every half hour or so, the ground around the tree. Ground is soaked and very soft.

Maybe you and the fam should go somewhere for shelter? I would be very worried about that tree too!

Everyone is a sleep and it's supposed to calm down over the nxt few hours. Just worried the tree will fall. Some crazy wind, haven't seen wind this strong in a while

That would be cool. My stepson is picking up his newly restored 70' Boss 302 today-- he is supposed to bring that to C&C as well.

No, he lives in Denver. It's getting shipped next week.
