Holy sh*t! We were trying to compress ONE spring for hours on end last night and got nowhere! The spring compressor from AutoZone kept grinding against the metal plate around the middle of the strut/where the bottom of the spring sits. After close to 5 hours of trying, we finally threw in the towel. Lesson learned - buy an impact gun and a proper spring compressor to make life easy.. Do you guys have any tips for the install??

Edit: Where can I find torque specifications for putting everything back together? I checked the Steeda instructions as well as the manual and maybe I glanced over it but I didn't see anything specific.

Seems I'm hitting every bump in the road when it comes to installing these springs. Now that they're mounted onto the struts properly, I can't get the brake caliper to slide back over the rotors.. If any of the SD guys can come out and help I'd really appreciate it and definitely be willing to pay as well!

Anyone in sd have a axle back system they may want to trade for a roush axle back. I just threw my stock mufflers back on and I hate them. The roush axle back mixed with my h pipe and cat delete is way to loud, looking for something to throw back on the back but not to loud but better than stock.

I figured I'd post this here. I know a lot of people are wanting mud guards for the s550 mustang, and the current options are... well overpriced.

There's a website, https://www.zl1addons.com/ (yes, they're primarily camaro based, doesn't matter) that makes these at a reasonable price. I contacted the owners about possibly making a set for the s550 mustang, and they said they would love to, but they need the car to make a template.

I'd do this myself, but unfortunately I'm no where near San Diego, but I figure maybe one of you guys might want to do it.

Does anyone have a recommendation for where I can get stripes installed in SD?

Modern Image has excellent reviews on Yelp and the guys were super nice, but they're quoting $450 to install these narrow dual full-length stripes I purchased from Big Worm Graphix.

Not sure what's a fair price, but that does seem a bit exuberant just for stripes. :shrug:
