Just I just got a brand new 2016 GT. I'm returning into the muscle car world after a brief foray into electric cars. This is my first Ford. I was a big GM guy for a while. So hi everyone. :headbang: Did have a question. Noticing on a cold start there is a little bit of an engine shake till car warms up. Is that normal. It's brand new.

What is your definition of a little bit? Mine also has a little bit, but only when between ~750-1000 rpm and not fully warmed, but after cold start. It's there but not annoying enough to complain about. Longitudinal-powertrain platforms are a little more sensitive to this. Your car (and probably mine) is just at one end of the acceptable tolerance for how everything got bolted into the mounts. I've felt bad idle vibrations and this isn't even close.

Yeah, it's very slight. I got super paranoid about it since my car had snail shells under the hood from the dealer. Didn't think much of it then but read it could be signs of rats. So good to know, thanks!

Yes, it's normal. the engine shakes a bit for a little while on cold starts.
Big engine with stiff engine mounts can cause that.
