rough estimates of hood painting

Got a nice dent in my hood today from a limb that fell on it like an arrow so it caused a fairly deep precise indention into the hood to the point i wonder if a body shop will just say a replacement hood is needed. So im curious if i went with an aftermarket hood how much on average would a good paint job of a hood cost if its done to match my race red paint?

Just trying to get a rough average to see what route I should take. ill try and get a picture of it in a few to see what opinions id get on other options and such. it is driving me insane because i just see it constantly as I am driving :(

300-500 from a decent shop I would say.

FWIW I've seen several posts from people saving a lot by having a dealer body shop paint their parts the same time they were already doing another job the same color. That way the dealer only has to mix and cleanup equipment once instead of twice.
