Just paid a shop in New Rochelle $300 to do my roof and antenna in Avery Gloss Black. The antenna almost immediately peeled up, but I kinda like the look of it with a white antenna. I'm keeping a close eye on the edges of the roof to make sure it stays down, otherwise I'll be up the shop's ass

If the wrap doesn't really hold up I'd probably have it painted. My car doesn't see rain or anything like that so hopefully it last a good long while.

Yeah you can get a clear wrap put over it to help protect it. I'm not sure what I'd do if my situation was different. Not having to worry about washing the car and it being constantly exposed to the elements I should be able to keep it looking pretty nice. Otherwise I think I'd rather just have it painted than to deal with all the wrap issues. I never did get any quotes for paint but I can't image it would be much more than say $500-$600.
