Roof Aerial ?

Collecting my car ( not seen it yet ) on Friday, but it's away for a roof wrap before hand. Got me thinking through. Is there a nubby roof aerial on these ?... cuz it's need attention if there is.

Something tells me there is . But I can't seem to find any pics for sure.

yes there's a nipple on the roof of the car, towards the rear, much like most BMWs have, the MY15/16s never had this due to Sync 2, however Sync 3 required the roof nipple.

Damn. Wonder if it's wrapable or do I need to have it painted / source a spare one

Wrap should be fine, If it can go through paint it can go through half a MM of wrap.

Equally if doing stripes you can go 'around it', i've seen that done and it doesnt look as bad as it sounds.

Most american ordered decals should have a cutout to go around the bump. Check when ordering though.

fyi, and dont try this, but IIRC from US side of the forums, you can 'Push' the nipple out, but has to take headlining off and unplug a bunch of wiring.
