Hello, I was doing some work under the hood today and noticed this clicking sound on startup from cold. It is very intermittent as you can hear. It went away completely after about 1 minute of idling.
It is not the typical driver’s side wheel well coyote tick that sounds like bottom end (which my car also has). That is usually audible when the car is warm and not this loud. This new sound is much louder than the injector noise.
No effect on performance, temps are normal, and the oil pressure is “normal” per the dash (non-pp so no analog gauge). It almost sounds external like it’s something with a drive belt.
Any theories or personal experience would be greatly appreciated. Car is a ‘17 gt with 98k miles. Consumes very little oil and still pulls like crazy.
Thanks!
