I have a new front Pony with the 4 prongs attached as per Ford "official" badge. What clips (or starlock washers) have people used to hold the prongs in, I see from varying vids you can re use the existing ones if the prongs are snapped off (to remove existing) but not sure how practical this is. I have bought several different sets of starlock washers but none seem to be correct sizing.

Wouldn't 3m tape do the trick?

When I removed my pony, I very carefully prised it away a bit at a time... I managed to break one prong.:(

But I saved all the star washers, which I put on a flat piece of steel and gave them a light tap with a hammer.... just to close the stars up a bit:)

I then re used them, and put a bit of tiger seal on the one that broke.. it's stood up well...

You can buy the star washers separately, I have a set, but I'm hanging onto them...:)

I have a Stanginator which came with embedded studs and small bolts. Problem was my hood was so well aligned I didn't want to remove the catch to get to the rear of the emblem so just used 3M tape to fix it. It's stayed on so far. Always meant to go back and fit the bolts but so far have not done so.
