Remote Start- Rear Window Defrost

I've wondered that as well. This is my first winter with my 16' GT Premium. When I remote start the car will the heater will turn on automatically depending on the temperature? I thought maybe I had to adjust some settings and save it to have the heat turn on with remote start.

Yes, its automatic.

There is a menu setting, one is "Auto" which senses the outside temp, if it's cold the heat comes on, if its hot the AC comes on if it's in the middle nothing comes on.

The other option is "Last" which will run the way it was set when you shut off the car.

I guess I'll have to see what happens with the rear defroster the next time it's cold and I remote start to see if it comes on like it's supposed to.

I don't know about that, but the other day I remote started to warm up a very cold morning. When I got in the car the seat warmer was running. A nice surprise for my butt.

Mine always comes on with the 3 bars on the RS

The heated/cooled seat as well as AC during remote start does not carry on once you hit the start button. You have to turn it back on.

My seats will stay on the 3 bars till I turn them down or off,
I always get in the car press the start button so the seat moves forward and the controls come on, then I will drive the car
