Hi guys-

Trying--> Reading & understanding the TRANS temp gauge? I'm trying to figure out what these lines on gauge are numerically as oppposed to just lines. Does anyone know what are fords reading/listing. Any help with this would be greatly appreciated.

So on the gauge it looks like the "yellow zone" temperature doesn't begin until about 260F?! That seems...extremely hot. Shouldn't the yellow or red zone be more like 240??

Because ford sucks, wants to sell you a new trans. 198 is on a long drive, 220 is hot, If ford overfills your fluid in your trans it will start to foam up and expand way too much causing transmission to starve and not shift gears. Then keep driving till 225/30 and it will leak threw your pan gasket and seals... then 250/60 new trans!
