I have tried phoenix automotive's product. With a constant trouble ticket I will be returning it to them. At first not sound, they sent correct harness. No backup camera signal, still troubleshooting it. The voltages from the vehicle are all over the place and the unit cuts in and out. Afraid it will shut off driving and I will not be able to get it working again. What is a good aftermarket radio to install that will not break the bank? I would like to keep as much of the factory controls as possible but I know in most situations that cannot be done. Just want to get a good idea. Looking to buy here in the next month. Thanks

So glad I didn't buy this. I ended up just going with an OEM 8" Sync 3 conversion. Sorry for your woes.

What radio did you have stock? 4 inch or 8 inch screen?
If 8 inch there is probably nothing better than a Maestro RR with the MFT1 kit and any Maestro RR compatible radio.

Take a look at dynavinnorthamerica.com. IMO, this is the best head unit on the market. Nav, CarPlay A/A, an amp that cranks, a sound processor and equalizer that makes the factory speakers sound so much better, a 10.5 in display that looks factory.Its699.00 I’ve had it for almost a year with absolutely no issues. This is not a made in China unit. The quality is amazing. I’m using it with the 12 speaker w/sub Shaker stereo.

I have the 4" display. wanted to get something that would work like my f150's sync 3 with android auto and apple carplay. Will be using that for nav, so no need for in car nav ( the data is more updated by the phone than in car)

The Dynavin is available for both equipment groups (4 inch and 8 inch stock radio).
