Looking for advice / insight from anyone that has had an aftermarket system installed.

I left the head unit, Sync 3 touch screen navigation system and just added an JL 5 channel AMP, LC8 DSP, replaced speakers with JL and added the JL sub in the truck.

So the problem is, that the radio system now seems to be putting a big draw on the battery when its off. I also walk near the car with the key fob and the amps/LC8 turn on. It appears they hooked it up to the wrong ACC.

Where have other added the ACC for this type of set up? I went back and talked with them and they said they can change the ACC hookup point but wanted to see what others have done?

Thanks!

Check out page 200-209 of the owners manual it lists all the fuses under the hood and in the cabin.
Part of the problem is you now have two amps running, I would locate the factory amp and disconnect it and run the after market amp off the factory power unless you have a high power amp running 75+ watts rms per channel then the correct way would be to run power direct from the battery and run the remote power wire from the factory amp.
