I have gone to Bertil Roos & Skip Barber racing schools. Bertil was a bit cheaper and I got a bit more out of it. But both were good and worth it in the long run. Check out the cars & tracks they run as that could easily swing the preference for one over the other.

HPDE, PDX, or other Track Days do not provide near the quality of instruction, amount of track time, nor the car. So you face a much bigger risk of crashing YOUR car. But they are much cheaper, and you might get somewhat more benefit by driving your own car.

I tried going to a school in Brooklyn to teach how to drive manual transmissions. Did one two-hour class and couldn't get the car to move. Gave up on it.

I bought a manual before I knew how to drive it when I was 17. My dad drove it home, handed me the keys, and said I had to learn if I wanted to leave the driveway. Took about a week to leave the neighborhood. I think it's the only way I would have learned... totally worth it!

i spent 2 hours trying to learn to drive manual and couldn't move? just press the clutch and slowly release until you start to feel the car roll. get use to were it engages and just give it gas.

Miller Motorsports Park runs Fords (outside of Salt Lake City UT). Ford ran the Boss 302 school program through them.
My daughter and I attended this school last year with my fiesta ST. When you Buy an ST product you get a one day driving school. We also added a one day Mustang driving school, after the ST driving school. It is a Great track with a great museum and they do treat you very well. We were one of the first to attend the ST driving school, it was the beginning of April and we had snow flurries during our track time. They were also running 2005 Mustang GT's, from my understanding they upgraded to 2015 Mustang GT's this year. My daughter and I drove out from Los Angeles and broke the trip up on the way home staying in Vegas long drive but nice trip.
