Quick/simple way to switch off the LCD screen

Is there like an "off" switch for the center screen. i find it quite distracting at night and trying to switch it off while driving ...well i've never been able to do it.

Can anyone help ?

Settings > Display > Off

I usually just dim the dash lights at night.

Easier on the eyes.
