So I recently got my spoiler from HCM carbon. While it comes with the appropriate hardware (e.g., nuts and bolts), there's no sealant or 3m tape included.
My car has a spoiler delete, so it's going to take some drilling to put this on. My question is - do I need 3m tape to secure the spoiler so I don't have any gaps between the panel? Also, it seems to me that drilling and leaving bare metal is a bad idea. What does everyone use to seal this? I've heard about nail polish, but that seems like it wont last. Perhaps silicone caulking?
