Question about power wire to battery

Currently I have my amp's power wire on the small bolt that holds the battery terminal down. I noticed some nice beefy terminals on the box by the battery but wasn't sure if it would hurt or help anything to go there instead. Seems like the terminal on the battery has some coating or just isn't making a real nice solid connection.

closer to the battery is better. If you use the 3 large terminals on the fuse/relay box, depending on what youre running on the amp you are putting a heavier load on that circuit. Whereas if you went directly off the battery you dont run into this issue. Im running my amp on the battery terminal bolt with no issues.
