I called to get an estimate on price for the wheels I want. However the dealer supposedly called the manufacturer and was told that style would not fit on the car and the only styles they made that would are ones they make that look like they belong on a nitro funnycar instead of the classic hotrod vibe I am going for. Supposedly the reason is clearance with the brake calipers. Is this an actual issue or was the dealer full of it. I tried emailing the manufacturer but my email has not been answered several weeks later

Yes. It is an issue for wheels not fitting with the PP GT brakes on the PP Eco/GT brakes.

I highly recommend you deal with a vendor on the forum like Need4SpeedMotors. There other a few others that can help as well.

They will ensure fitment of the wheels on your Mustang.

Honestly, I think there are bigger fitment issues with the GT/PPEB brakes than the GTPP brakes.

The 4 piston calipers on the GT/EBPP cars are wider than the 6 piston setup, so wheels that clear the 6 piston setup might not clear the 4 piston setup. I know at least one person has been burned by that.

they are Billet specialties. There is 3 designs I am currently deciding between. I was going to go through Pete and Jakes Hot Rod parts because of the relationship between myself and them as well as they are my dads biggest customer. I called the dealer I did to just get a somewhat ballpark price.

So it sounds as I might not have an issue as my car is an ecoboost without the performance pack
