I just got quoted $75 per mirror at superior tint in boca for wrapping them in gloss black. This seemed very steep to me. What prices have you guys seen around this area?

Do you know of any other places that do great work at decent pricing?

Thanks in advance:cheers:

Wow. That does seem steep but yet again I have no idea what the norm is for this but $150 for the pair surprised me. I have seen the carbon fiber snap on covers for less than that !

Yeah. I found some OEM black mirror caps for $100. Might just go that route instead, however, just not sure if they work with the BLIS system.

How's Oralando been today? So sad that something like this can happen

The sensors aren't in the mirror casing so you will be ok. I have the same set up and want to wrap or cover them too.
Orlando is a mess today. So sad. Then you have the Christian activists saying it was deserved. Wonder why I quit going to church.

I was thinking something like these:

http://m.ebay.com/itm/2015-2016-For...3D391364428625&_trksid=p2056116.c100408.m2460

Doesn't seem like they allow the side blinkers though. And it says in the description that it doesn't comply with the BLIS system. No idea how that works though.

Might just take my mirror covers off and get a quote for painting them in gloss black.

And that's completely messed up. Don't understand how anyone can say something like that is deserved.

Those are for the base mirrors that don't have the turn signals. Look on ebay. There are lots on there

I can't find a single black mirror cover with the cutouts. Can only see the carbon fiber versions. Can you link the ones you've seen?

^ And they come unpainted. I think you'll find replacing them is more than $150.

Negotiate with them, although that sounds a bit on the high side, they may have to disassemble it a bit (however the cap hooks on) to wrap it properly and tuck the edges. The black trim is very tight to the cap.

They did my tint and are fantastic by all other reviews out there.

I agree, seems costly either way. Maybe plasti dip them first to see if you like it. You can do that for under $10 for dip and tape.

Yeah that's true. I've had around 10 cars tinted there. They do great work just thought it was a little steep.

I might hold off on the mirror caps for a little until I figure out the best way to attack this.

i'll for sure check him out. If I get it a lot cheaper taking a trip down to Miami shouldn't be a problem at all. How are those hood vents holding up?

I was thinking about getting a pair of oem black take offs as I've heard people say that the wrap starts to peel.

Got real curious so obviously had to find your car. Beautiful ride:headbang::cheers:
