Just wanted to give a shout out to awe. I installed them on my ecoboost, I love them. Sounds really good and looks darned good! Had a compliment on a random person saying sounded nice. Never happened with the oem.

I think anyone on fence with a nice quality exhaust that sounds good for dd I say get it. The chrome tips look so nice I wanted to share a pic.

Coming a little late to the party here, but I installed these yesterday on my ecoboost convertible. I am very pleased. No noticeable difference in highway cruising, but deeper and louder when you get after it a little. Plus, if you search around, you can find them for under $600.

Question, I like my sound as it is but I am curious about ill effects of adding a y pipe and removing the resonators, did you guys do this at all when testing this axle back?

If so, how did it sound with your axle back touring + y pipe resonator delete. Was it awful or good, droned a lot? etc.

Negative, we went into EB R&D knowing we were going to do an ABE only.

With that said, they're pretty robust resonators so they should fair well against omitting the front resonator. We can't guarantee what it will sound like, though
