OK chaps, I'm not the savviest of people when it comes to 'puters. But I can usually follow simple directions.

I have a word doc containing pictures that I would like to post. I've tried copy/pasting into the message box but only get the text. I've used the manage attachments button and got them uploaded but they promptly disappeared. Found them again on the PM page but don't know how to get them in the post.

There's probably a sticky somewhere but I'm damned if I can find it. Other posts mention image hosting sites but I would rather just upload them to the forum.

Anyone point me in the right direction for the sticky or provide a quick how to?

Cheers:cheers:

This is the method I use, hope it helps.

Right click on the photo in word.
Save as picture
Create new folder on desk top ( rename it if you wish)

Save as type = JPEG file
Add File name to your picture
Then Save
Repeat for all your photos.

To post

go advanced
Add attachment
Browse for your folder you made
Select the photos and upload.

Take note of file sizes too. There is a maximum size in mb - go over it and any attachments will fail.
