Hi everyone

After reading this forum for months anonymously I finally decided to subscribe and become parts of this pony lovers community :-)

I ordered my 2015 fastback ecoboost in guard color last October.

Anyway i might have missed that on all the threads but I wanna know if here in europe we can install on the center gauges US owners have on their ecoboost "performance pack" (see mu uploaded image)??

https://lmr.com/products/mustang-gt-ecoboost-center-gauge-cluster-install-performance-pack

I think it really adds something to the interior look and such a shame they don't come with it here in Europe.

Sorry if this topic has been discussed somewhere else, feel free to redirect me to the thread.

Thanks

It's almost impossible. The wiring loom underneath the instrument panel would have to be changed, as it comes in about 714 different models depending on the equipment and trim level you've bought. Ours don't come with the necessary cables and plugs for the instruments, so you'd have to order one in, rip the wiring out and start over... Not likely.

Not only the wiring. I did many search time ago and you also need to replace THE ENTIRE DASHBOARD, even the main air conditioning conduit beneath it.

So... yes, it's possible, but it's easier and cheaper to import an US model :D

Odd one really, they're not exactly necessary. To be honest in 22 years of driving i can't think of one instance where i wanted to know what my oil pressure is by looking at a little gauge.

You can put a variety of gauges on your little screen infront of you.

Sure, it would be not for need but only for appearance :)
If it's only to swap front panels, ok, but it's nearly impossible without destroy half car!

I will say this, having an analog boost gauge in a turbocharged car is a pleasure!!

Very true. Although a turbo boost gauge in the middle of the dash is pretty sweet if you have someone driving with you :D

Still way too much hassle though. Some of us go through extended hassle to repair the EU model damages, but this is just too much.

Maybe we should petition :ford: to replace one of the more useless digital gauges we have with a digital boost gauge.

I'd have loved a digital speedo, personally...

No no no.. it's possible.

A dremel and the gauges dashboard is enough to get the gauges on our ecoboost:

http://www.mustang6g.com/forums/showthread.php?t=38818

Seems the guy who did it is in The States so with a US model. So he already had OEM center gauges and only swapped them with performance package ecoboost ones.

Not sure we can mount center gauges from nothing especially with a EU model...

No, you can clearly see that it had not 4 rounds in the middle

I am quite sure it's the same config that we have here.

I will let you try first as you seem to be about to
fingers crossed

even with a 'destructive' mod like that, you will have issue of heat and cold air coming from the central air vent. I'll not be the one who try that!
