Most of you already know:

So beautiful Mustang looks outside, so bad was finished it from the bottom. :frusty:

At various forums, pictures are circulating of the poor workmanship from below.
Exhaust, inside the wheels and drivetrain is painted but the most important sections are missed. :headbonk:

Last week I had this professionally redone. A new paintjob below and Mike Sanders Grease
Although you do not see on the outside, still highly recommended for safe feeling about preventing rust. :headbang::headbang:

I do not know if I may send a professional link but all the pictures can be seen on their site:

https://www.wellcoll.nl/doppelt-halt-besser/

There are also pictures from the outside on their Wall of Fame: :clap2:

Yeah I'm thinking of getting something done for Winter myself... though I get the feeling that the companies around here aren't very "professional" and "lags behind" in terms of technology... they seem to offer the same "stuff" they did 15-20 years ago... Dinitrol? that's one of them I think.

I'm also getting a detailer to thoroughly clean, buff and wax/protect my car :D

IT WILL ALL BE SO EXPENSIVE THOUGH! (not impressed with the paint protection by Ford... after my first wash the side panels were "spotty" and really showed a lack of wax...)

Did a Dinitrol treatment before the winter (won´t drive my car in the winter anyway, but still wanted a good protection) and it´s really good. Just make sure that they are very careful and mask the parts that do not need protection. It´s a greasy process...

Watch out for products based on bitumen, it will crack after a period of time.
The Mike Sanders Grease-system has a self-healing power after small damages!

Self-healing power, lol. Self-marketing maybe.

Mine undercoating was fine, we lifted it at dealer and checked during the first oil change.

Is there any difference in the undercoating quality between cars that arrived at Zeebrugge and cars that arrived at Bremerhaven?

Can someone with cars that arrived via Germany take some pictures of the undercarriage to compare the work quality Germany vs Belgium.

I'll post some pics of mine when I get it up on a lift. When installing my jacking rails, I noticed that there is a lot of the the underside not coated. Will do it myself. Car arrived and undercoated at Bremerhaven.

PS: I thought 2016 models were going to be undercoated at the factory?

The American cars aren't under coated, check out the videos and photos of US cars, CJPony videos are a good place to look.

There are pros and cons to all undercoatings. The undercoating that makes a hard layer that we call Ziebart, LineX or Rhino lining is not a good idea. If that layer cracks, water can get into that space and create rust from the inside out. I personally like products like Fluid film. I wasn't able to get Fluid Film where I'm at in Germany so I am going with a Motip Product called wax coating. I'll take photos when I apply it and let everyone know my results.

Those rubber stonechip coatings on the underside aren't that bad an idea, atleast stones will bounce off the underside where as the wax won't protect the paint from chipping and then in time rust will start. It needs to be done early though, no good doing it when the car has a few thousand miles on it, damage has been done then.
