Hi there

I am really struggling, I pretty much have the choice of style narrowed down to Forgestar F14 or MMR 350, both are lightweight wheels. The Forgestar can come in pretty much any colour you wish in 18", 19" and 20" with offsets ideal for the car, so absolute zero change of any tire poke/bulge past the fenders. I hope poke/bulge I prefer my wheels to be at least 5-10mm inside the arch as I have now with 15mm spacers in rear and 23mm spacers up front on the stock GT PP wheels.

I like the F14's because the design is unique and they work very well with body shape and the finishes look absolutely superb. I would go with 19/20x9.5" front and a 19/20x11" rear wrapped in 275/35 up front and a 295/35 or 305/35 out back, MPSS of course! My favourite colour so far is smoked gloss graphite which is like a silver with touches of grey, but is a colour not yet done on a Mustang. I could go traditional silver but I don't think it suits the wheel design so much and I also like back graphite which is a very dark grey almost looks black at times and gunmetal at other times. The other wild colour is bronze burst, looks lovely on a clean car in sunlight, my worry is how it looks in shade and with a little brake dust, it might just look black but could maybe look brown.

The MMR 350 is also a very nice design, it is actually a copy of the GT 350 wheel and is only available in black or gunmetal. I'd go gunmetal and even though its a nice colour I am a little unsure if its to close in colour to my cars paintwork (magnetic) and the finish does not look as good as the Forgestar finish, but the design is nice. These are only in 19" so more limited on tyres, would have to be a 275/35/19 up front and a 305/35 or a 325/30 (risk of poke) out back.

The simple fact is I can't decide, I'd be happy with any of these wheels in any of the colours, they all look superb, they are unique, they save a considerable amount of weight per corner and will drastically improve handling and grip of the car compared to the stock heavy GT PP wheels with not so great Pzero tyres.

Here are the options:

OPTION 1: Forgestar F14 Deep Concave 19/20" Silver / Smoked light graphite

Brushed silver:

Smoked light graphite next to Black graphite:

I really like the Smoked light graphite, I feel it gives the F14's a more premium and softer look, whereas the regular silver looks very hard cut and could be a little too light in colour like the stock GT PP nickel lustre wheels which look almost white in sunlight. Feel this colour needs to be 20" to work!

OPTION 2: Forgestar F14 Deep Concave Black Graphite 19"

I do like this colour, it varies so much in colour due to lighting meaning it can look almost black or even gunmetal grey and it seems to work well in the 19" smaller size, whereas the other Forgestar colours seem to demand 20" to really work. Though I'd probably go with 20" to make my gearing a little taller to help with traction and power delivery for when I go whipped. ;)

OPTION 3: Forgestar F14 Deep Concave 20" Bronze Burst!

Try to forget the red wheel lugs, they are not for me, but I think this colour looks stunning against the magnetic paint work and again I suspect this colour only works in 20" as pictured. My worry is what this colour looks like in shade or when the car is a little dirty, it could just look dull or even worse brown, so maybe great on a clean car but on a daily driven car maybe not a great choice, but I do like this and rare it would be.

OPTION 4: Forgestar F14 Deep Concave 20" in gloss gunmetal

I think this also looks great, my only concern is a wheel colour that more or less matches body colour, again on a daily car I can see this just looking a bit dull with some road usage and brake dust. Plus I feel silver or silver graphite would be better choice as with some usage the lighter silver pretty much becomes gunmetal anyway with some brake dust and road grime. Still it looks very nice when clean with subtle styling.

OPTION 5: Forgestar F14 Deep Concave 20" Gloss/Piano black

The most popular colour on the S550 is black and admittedly it does work well but black wheels do lose the detail of the lines in the wheels I find but they do work quite well on the S550 in all colours, remember my car is magnetic hence the large amount of images using magnetic coloured cars. ;)

OPTION 6: MMR 350 Gunmetal 19" wheels

I really do like this design, simple but quite unique, but it does look good and 19" in these I feel looks like 20" Forgestars, the design gives the impression of a larger wheel I feel. My only dislike is the finish looks a little flat and lacking in gloss, meaning with some use they could be a rather dull looking wheel matching magnetic bodies colour.

OPTION 7: MMR 350 Black wheels!

My car as it stands now!

The car is getting added Steeda front splitter, RTR side and rear splitters and a Ford GT350 satin black track spoiler/wing. So bearing this in mind I feel my car will work best with either Smoked light graphite as this is a deep light silver/grey depending on lighting meaning it will still work well with clear lights, chrome pony and 5.0 badges and even the chrome trim. My other favourite is graphite black because it varies from gloss grey to gloss black and that would work well with the 350 track spoiler and black side decals. I feel as nice as bronze burst and gloss black are they won't work as well with my particular car. The issue is all these wheels would look great, I feel a couple could look spectacular but trying to decide is painful, so I wish to share my pain and reach our to members here to help ease my pain with making a decision. Sorry guys! :D

Nice image compilation. I say that smoked light graphite would look killer, especially with the clear euro tails!

OK Colour is definetely going to be black graphite gloss or smoke light graphite gloss simply because it has so many shades. I do like black graphite because of how from some angles it is black and others gunmetal.

Here it is, base is silver with a darker top coat:

All of the wheels above pretty much scrap them, I've discovered two I feel I like even more after seeing more cars with them fitted and the weight saving is 4-5kg per wheel/tyre.

CF10's

CF5V

Love both, think I shall toss a coin on the colour and then toss the coin again on which design to go with CF10 or CF5V. :)

Is up to you buddy !!! I have plenty of respect for other manufactures but i vote for MRR Design wheels M350

also if you have time on your hands or not, is usually 5-6 weeks to get some Forgestars on your hands or about 5 business days in shipping for M350 :D

I have to stay neautral on this because I carry both and both are great.

Here are some things to consider.

If yo do the F14 Black graphite for sure.

Wheels are great and light however not mustang specific

M350 wheels amazing wheels 19s ( their inspired by the factory so there is no concave on these) however they are mustang specific so they take the oem caps and are hubcentric.

Just going to provide facts here, either way def looking forward to hooking you up.

Am now thinking CF5V in silver or can you do the smoked light graphite colour?

As MMR 350 is Mustang specific I assume a Forgestar wheel still fits fine however and won't cause any vibration issues?

Lastly can M350 be done in other colours?

Any of those wheels look good and are good wheels. I would avoid silver on your dark gray car. The closer the shade is to the body color the easier it is to see your wheels. The bronze wheels are a nice touch as they have the same lightness as the gray but will stand out do to the different color.

Nice picks. I dig the look of the gunmetal on gunmetal(or magnetic in this case). It has a very stealthy look/feel. However, it's not exactly the same shade. That may be a good or bad thing depending on your style.

FYI, I chose the MMR's in gunmetal for ya.

I can do any of these wheels in any color you want thats not a issue for me, as for the Forgestar no vibration issues at all their a great wheel brand also.
