Gotta agree with this one, some of the dems and liberal press seem pretty giddy over this disaster.
Yes there are.......but there will be plenty of room in hell for them as well as the governors that refuse to close their states (ours here in SC finally did the right thing), the moron in Georgia that reopened their beaches, and all of the others that are putting people's lives at risk for their stupid political ideologies.

https://www.foxnews.com/health/dr-m...s-father-96-and-his-use-of-hydroxychloroquine

Dr. Marc Siegel, a Fox News medical contributor, told “Tucker Carlson Tonight” on Tuesday that his 96-year-old father was recently weak and struggling to breathe but recovered after he was administered an anti-malaria drug and antibiotics.

Siegel was discussing hopeful signs that hydroxychloroquine has shown in recent studies when combined with antibiotics for coronavirus treatment.

Siegel said his father, who lives in Florida, recently complained about weakness, shortness of breath and feared that he was going to die.

Siegel said that his father’s cardiologist prescribed hydroxychloroquine and antibiotics and the combination proved effective.

"He got up the next day and was fine,” Siegel said.

False hope, huh? If my father had CV19 I would give him hydroxchloroquine myself.

No one is saying that there is zero possibility the this drug could help. If this were a last chance I'd do it too. It's not the message, it's the messenger. Trump continues to push this and people are believing it is a cure. If they take it without medical advice, and you know people will, there is far more chance it will harm them than help them. Until there is proof positive that this drug can actually help with minimal side effects Dr. Trump should keep his mouth shut. But we know he can't.

It is a prescription medication, if they take it without a prescription, they are breaking the law already. Dumbfuckery cannot be cured. There is lots of evidence the drug is helping people and it is giving people a sense of hope. Should he be standing up there yelling that there is no help coming and we are all doomed? People with no hope turn into animals, we don't need that right now. We need hope.

Hydroxychloroquine is used to prevent or treat malaria caused by mosquito bites. The United States Center for Disease Control provides updated guidelines and travel recommendations for the prevention and treatment of malaria in different parts of the world. Discuss the most recent information with your doctor before traveling to areas where malaria occurs.

This medication is also used to treat certain auto-immune diseases (lupus, rheumatoid arthritis). It belongs to a class of medications known as disease-modifying antirheumatic drugs (DMARDs). It can reduce skin problems in lupus and prevent swelling/pain in arthritis.
Nausea, vomiting, loss of appetite, diarrhea, dizziness, or headache may occur. If any of these effects last or get worse, tell your doctor or pharmacist promptly.

Remember that your doctor has prescribed this medication because he or she has judged that the benefit to you is greater than the risk of side effects. Many people using this medication do not have serious side effects.

Tell your doctor right away if you have any serious side effects, including: slow heartbeat, symptoms of heart failure (such as shortness of breath, swelling ankles/feet, unusual tiredness, unusual/sudden weight gain), mental/mood changes (such as anxiety, depression, rare thoughts of suicide, hallucinations), hearing changes (such as ringing in the ears, hearing loss), easy bruising/bleeding, signs of infection (such as sore throat that doesn't go away, fever), signs of liver disease (such as severe stomach/abdominal pain, yellowing eyes/skin, dark urine), muscle weakness, unwanted/uncontrolled movements (including tongue/face twitching), hair loss, hair/skin color changes.

You are sooooo right. Trump is telling people he's no doctor, and you should, of course, check with your doctor. But how many people are not hearing that part. Heath care professionals across the nation have enough to do fighting this virus than having people begging for a drug that could kill them. I have no issue with hope but he just comes across as a snake oil salesman.

If he was selling hydroxychlorpquine on the corner he would be a snake oil salesman. Trump says enough stupid shit for you to complain about this is not that.
