Bought this PPV Explorer for pretty cheap for out of town excursions and to haul the dogs and family around. So far so good. The 3.7 cyclone is pretty peppy and it rides/handles surprisingly well and picked up a center console from the junkyard for $100, was much needed.
I recently took it to Iowa and back here to Jersey without a hitch, ran really well. Has an intermittent CEL for the cats which I'm assuming is because it was idled a ton and driven a bunch (now @ 140k miles) The only solution for that is to replace the entire header since the cat is attached to it :frusty:. Will save that for later. I avg around 19mpg.
I will tell you it's pretty nice to have this vehicle since everyone moves out of your way and people doing dumb crap like cutting me off is all of a sudden drastically reduced. I really like this thing and glad I picked her up.
I also want to know if anyone has any or knows of any good tuning options for it? I contacted the guys at Lethal but was told Lund doesn't tune for it. I think this would be a great platform to have a tune for.
