It's a GT non-PP with the base 4 piston brakes, building chassis up. Just trying to get my mind at ease. I've done some forum searching and tire comparison. Bought the 5.0 a month ago, and trying to build an ultimate drivers feel car for spirited driving when me and the girlfriend visit her family in the country down south in Texas.

But basically, I'm thinking of going with the Enkei RPF1 18x10 +38 with NT555 G2 285/40/18 -- According to the forums I've read, they should clear. But! He was running 275/40. From what I saw, you could still get a little more tire on there.

What I'm worried about is the the tire rubbing against the strut and plastic fender wells with the 285. I'm perfectly okay with running 275, but if I can run 285

I've got BMR springs, (front: -1.2" // rear: -0.5") along with most of their suspension components except end links, toe rods, and chassis brace. Performs very well, care feels more planted. But the rear end hops once when powering out of the turn and braking into the turn. That's with the stock 18x8 with 235/50. Could be either due to the smaller tire or that I have my swaybar maxed out to the stiffest and the front on the middle hole.

So do y'all think there'll be rubbing issues running 285? Because I know people are running like 305, but i believe they're running a 25mm spacer though. Keep in mind, its the non-PP GT model without the brembos.
